The public release of the Apple iPad into the wild is quickly approaching. In the meantime, PercentMobile is on the hunt to uncover the locations these rare and illusive devices are appearing prior to official release.
In advance of the iPad launch tomorrow, we’re happy to introduce functionality allowing advertisers to target their ads to the iPad on Day 1 of this new device.
Advertisers can now target Mobile Web and iPhone app ad groups to the iPad. This means they can now drive traffic to their website or promote their iPad native apps or Universal Applications. Advertisers can also target devices running iPhone OS 3.2. Ads targeted to the iPhone OS will now include iPad by default as the Apple family of devices has grown. Advertisers wishing to target just the iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad can select each device independently as well.
